Eric Fowler, M.A.
I am a fourth-year PhD student in the School of Criminal Justice at the University at Albany, SUNY and an alumnus of the Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice (2012). My doctoral research largely centers on youth street gang group structure and juvenile justice policy and practice. Generally, I attempt to assess the causal impacts of processing youths in adult versus juvenile criminal justice domains. Specifically, a major project has been examining the effects of raising the age of criminal responsibility (or age of adulthood) on immediate and longer-term criminal justice related outcomes.
